I like my short board and will be honest i went shorter than i was suggested as for me its alot about fitting in car easy. i travel to and from work and all over with my board in car all the time and have no issue with theft. I can even fit kids in with board inside so when the opportunity arises i can jump in for quick surfs here and there.

Yesterday there was a younger guy riding a big old mal at the point and he was getting a few great waves. Smooth runs with nose rides and small tubes. I started to turn then saw him struggle to carry the beast back up the beach. NO thanks..

Picking on Doggies age is a bit below the belt though flella's[}:)] Pot calling the kettle black..

I think I have only ever used the red button half a dozen times and 4 of those went to 2 people - and that was a while ago. Still strugglying with the emotional side of that episode.

I love it how certain people get them and some don't yet those that don't are normally the ones that I would most like to punch in the face - even though I am not a violent man and have never had a fight - or a speeding ticket for that matter!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Right back on topic........

1. If Doggie only surfs waves like that pic then no problem
2. If he does not surf sometimes because conditions do not suit his quiver then he should consider making changes to it
3. I think it would be great to get waves like that every w/e !!!!
4. Local does not equal 20 min drive away
5. I wonder if he has thought about changing jobs or moving locations so that he can surf more often?

Ok lads I am outta here - need to beat the traffic out of Sydney. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I think the thumbs are a little stupid. I often will green thumb a post i think is very funny. Cant be bothered with reds. I would prefer to comment on a post i don't like.

I reckon most Reds would be non posters mostly.

doggie will do as doggie does - aint no one here gonna change that...

For me the move to mid length boards came after a major accident that kept me out of the water for 10 months - I lost a truck load of fitness and strength - as well as some confidence.

Once I realised how the wave count went up I never went back to a true shorty - now surf big fat fishes - and have a LB for the d!ck high days. Keeps me in the water.

Each to their own fellas - just don't bring a 666 out near me!

I reckon some reds come from lurkers from 666 room. I got a pm off one a few weeks ago about a topic we were on. I guess their way of getting even as we do sh1t stir there a bit. Oh, yes the rest is from the K9.

Okay so here is a short video that doggie and i took just recently. This is Doggie on a 9'6" but he didn't want it to get out. Hopefully the angle is okay, no crutch shots (to be shown on the net) Doggie said
