Its pretty clear to me why he has split - why would you do that to your brand unless times are very very desperate.

Supposedly the 10th title came with 3 % of market cap.. So yeah will be interesting...

But I'm not buying it till tomorrow although it is a very weird elaborate prank if it turns out that's what it is.

Edit.. Haha ted.

Pup only a bogan would wear NRL or AFL boardies apologises if I offended anyone in advance.

Is it a Prank I still think it could be or is it another case of the player thinking he is better than the game

You really think his financial advisors might not have suggested he sell some when the price was teetering on the cliff

He would not have been allowed to sell shares prior to this announcement. I am sure he would have flogged a few out the over recent years in this bull market and having seen the rapid decline of his friends sponsored by billabong

Look you souths supporters have had more than enough time to come up with some new material. This stuff is getting boring. I thought you were a bit more creative Personally I think its time to stop dwelling on the past and start living in the present

My main point on the NRL shorts was that its absolutely bizarre that a so called global surf brand with roots that run deep would be wanting to associate itself with a sport that is only really played on the east coast of Australia - hardly something that is scalable through their other channels across the world. I just do not understand why. Thats all. It seems to me like they are really struggling for ideas and with their market rapidly dropping away they seem to be clinching at loose straws. I would like to have been a fly on wall when this product segment was discussed to have heard their reasonings and why they think it was a path to go down. I really can not see this product line adding a significant amount to their bottom line but associating yourself with the NRL really only opens up downside risk in my view.

Surfbroker - whats up with the fin art on the fence ? Is it to scare the Indian Minor birds away

The bloke rips. His cupboard full of titles confirm it but Let's hope this is the start of him being remembered for something bigger than being really good at standing on a thin piece of fiberglass.

If its just a cash grab then that is ****ed.

Will be interesting to watch what happens.
