96 point flogging must just about be a record loss in a final

The suns would have put up more fight Mac . The kangaroos this year seemed to go real good or real bad , bit like the broncos , unfortunately today was real bad .

Pretty damning statistic

This weekend tipping Eagles to finish off the magpies

Dockers to beat the crows .

Could be a big weekend for you WA boys . Imagine if we have an all WA grand final in a few weeks . Reckon I will hear the cheering from here

A West Coast v Freeo Grand Final is pretty unlikely. Swans and Hawks will both be tough to beat. Also Pies will be tough to beat.

Pies are probably looking a little bit vulnerable in defense, but their Midfield is too classy, plus their forwards are starting to get form... And they also have plenty of avenues to goal... Beams, Pendles, Swan, Cloak, The Doors, Daisy, Blair, and more... Hard to keep a leash on all of them!

Either way, this weeks winners are hard to pick.

Hawks still look good for the Premiership. It will take a great effort from a very good team to to beat Hawks. But anything is possible this year.

Agreed Simondo , I am backing a Swans Hawks final . But last weekend both the WA teams played like world beaters

Swans play the winner of the eagles / magpies game , should be a great game Scotty .

I think the Hawks have the easier run playing the winner of the Dockers / Crows

Thanks TD. As you can see I'm a huge AFL fan.
Noticed there wasn't much in the paper about Swans.
AFL is usually 20 pages in from back in between the horoscopes and the weather.
Go the Swanies.

Weren't they saying the same thing about the Cats

I'm tipping a Dockers win over the Crows and Eagles over the Maggie's.

I wouldn't be writing the FREO boys off too soon and I reckon COLLINGWOOD will choke again.

After a strong start the Dockers go into the half time break with a lead of only 13 points. The crows came back strongly in the last half of the second quarter to have some momentum going into half time.... I just knew you east coasters would be keen to know what's going on

FREO Dockers go down by 10 points. After being up by 29 the WA boys couldn't hold on. Pavlich only kicked the one goal and was sorely missed.

Onwards and upwards next year fellas

Come on the Eagles tomorrow and knock out another Vicco team

Ted, I've noticed something on tonight's betting. Swans 1-39 are $2.12, and Pies 1-39 are $2.80. This game is almost certain be be under 39 either way. You can hedge this one. Strangely, they offer $46 for a draw, but the end result can't be a draw. They will go to extra time for a winner...

Edit - I rang the boys to confirm. Margin Bets conclude at Full Time, and exclude extra time. Confusing hey!?
