So I participated in this, my very first event as a SUP newbie and it was fantastic. Very well run and very accomodating for all talent levels. The guys doing the 12kms are bloody legends.

Well done to all the organisers and if anyone reading this is thinking maybe you should've gone then I can say unequivocally YES.

And it was absolute pleasure having a natter with DJ as I busted myself while he ambled along effortlessly.

Thanks SUP Vic and all the sponsors for getting behind these events. Coming from a background of participating in cycling events over the past 10 years, this friendly environment is definitely the right way to go and is what I've seen happen in cycling.
