These are some of my "local" SUP crews... all awesome people, and I miss them!
My beaches are NOT shut down and many of my friends are still surfing.... some are not.
There are endless remote places to paddle, right down the street, as you have seen in my videos
But.... I simply can't, my soul won't let me.
Everyone has their own reasons to "stay home or go"
One friend just got Doctor's "ok to surf" after 8 months out for shoulder and hernia repair.
I say "go and have an awesome session, my friend"
Every situation is different, so no government dictate can possibly serve them all.
