Nice video..I'm thinking of getting a 8'5 speed or the 8'4 flow..as a third board in my quiver as a change up from my Minion..are these available in NZ..I see them on TM ..and what's the difference between the two boards..and how would it compare to my 7'8 Minion
The Speeed has more parallel rails, draws longer turns down the line, for tight carving turns, step back near the stomper.
The wide nose gets more stable, the harder you paddle into a wave and paddles very straight....the kick saves you on late, steep drops.
The Flow has a curvy outline, so it is easy to turn from the middle... it will pump tighter, quicker turns when running down the line.
The Flow is snappier into the lip and gets vertical easier than the Speeed.
The Flow does not paddle as straight as the Speeed.
The Speeed is narrower, so I need to ride one the same size as a traditional design
The Flow can be ridden shorter IMO
I need a 9'2 Speeed in winter, but could ride the 8'10 Flow in the same conditions
The Speeed has a more domed deck
The Flow has a flatter deck.
I prefer the Speeed to the Flow, because I have to ride bigger boards... and the 9'2 Flow is too wide in front of the fins, for my tastes.
I am sure I would really like a smaller Flow, if I could ride it.
I can't answer to the Minion comparison, because I have no experience with them.

Best to ask Sup The Creek......he has a hard job.......helps Tino carry the Sunova boards around.......and so has probably surfed every Sunova board that ever was made
Nope.... I don't carry boards. Part of the deal (old back)... Tino is a little grumpy about that
I drive the truck and surf.
I haven't ridden the Style yet, but yeah, most of them! .. pretty lucky to have access to so many great boards!
Pimping as it may sound.... I want one of each.
They all bring something different to the table, and all are good. better than good. frickin' good... Bert continues to amazes me.
I would have bet the farm that I would not like the Skate.
ha ha.... I would have lost the farm.
