Any good suggestions for longboard and sup surfing waves in Mauritius ?

Tamarin is your best bet. Sup surfing is "allowed " at blackstones but not at Dal. Le morne is also good when it's not windy.

There is heavy localism in Mauritius by extremely moronic so-called "locals" (often having only mere months of "locality").

A friend went there with a SUP and was teaching his son on a beginner-friendly beachbreak and they got so viciously hassled by "locals" that he quit trying to SUP there.

Thanks Colas. I wasn't aware of such BS attitudes down there.

Le morne has a few good breaks which are friendly and in Tamarin there is a nice right which is also friendly. It's only really the left (Dal) which is an issue and that's only when it is big and certain people are out. Most of the time it's fine. The beach is just carnage with people learning to surf and everyone paddling for the same wave.
