They were both doable in ideal conditions, but that's not often, where I think you are planning to surf,.treat yourself and go wider, with a more pulled in nose ..just saying

Thanks JustAddWater for the feedback on your experience with those sups, its a good reminder. The same as when we go to shorter and shorter sups, you get to a point where the fun factor isn't there, same with stability.

Hi Supchikadee,
If you want the longboard style without the bulk I would recommend if you can get your hands on the 9' version to try I would, it may be perfect for you.
I had the 9'x30 revo it is an awesome board in every way. The only thing I found is that at my weight it didnt like me right on the nose ( too fatnheavy) But it certainly ripped and was a fast board. I put Quobba fins on it that made it very loose. The only reason I sold it is that I have a flow v2 that performed better and I was a bit big to nose ride it.
I now have the 10'x30 revo as I felt the 28' may be a little too much work for me. I wish I could have afforded a custom version at 9'6x29 I think this would be the board in the revo range.
PS. I surf not far from you. If ever over Invy way I have an 8'8 flow, 8'8 SPX and revo. You are welcome to try them all anytime.
