i got out on the board finally for the first time today, the conditions were still not good 15-20 knots shifty wind surfing in a harbour/river mouth with a lot of water moving around and only very short 1-2foot waves. It was pushing the my limits for staying up right but then i wasn't really expecting it to be easy as it hard in that spot even on my 7'10. I had a couple of waves that gave me enuff to crank a few turns and the speed it came around and snaps was like no other sup i have paddled yet. Im not 100% convinced on the single concave yet and think i may experiment a bit with a bit more of my fish style bottom shape but outline and size seam great. hopefully looking like we may get some better waves in a week or two and i will try get some pictures then.
I got same thought about it, i might keep full concave plan shape's option for the case of full rocker board and shorter board.
