Well that was three minutes I won't get back... on with the show!

Hopped online Wednesday night after being away from Seabreeze and saw that I was suspended and then saw all of this above today.
I?ll make an attempt to reply to the feedback, in a more civil manner than I may have previously done so.
I?m a shortboard surfer, and also a mini-mal rider from time to time. Semi-keen on the idea of SUPing, hence my interest in Seabreeze or more specifically the SUP forums. Have lived on the Goldy and elsewhere on and off since my teens. I joined here last Sept to ask and learn about SUP?ing. I work in digital media, and am away from the Coast for several months due to work.
Regarding my first post (which has been deleted but referred to board snaps and fin plugs popping out etc.), yes, I stand by that based on my own experience and that of several others I know well. Perhaps it might have been a dodgy shipment as it sometimes happens in all industries. It?s a forum, and my delivery aside, I should be able to communicate that in some way, a better way, but some way just the same.
Regarding my second post, perhaps we should let that be as that was a few years ago and in reference to the surfboard industry on the Gold Coast. That kind of comment may be taboo here as well perhaps. I should have bitten my tongue and not posted that. At the risk of sounding like a politician, I retract that statement.
Regarding mostly everything else and your past issues that you mentioned that you?ve been confronted with, I?m simply lost there with what you?re saying. Perhaps that lot is SUP stuff and not shortboard stuff, which I was referring to.
I?m a bit sore with the whole surfboard pop-out history we have seen on the Goldy over the last +5 years and the rest. This subject may be a worn out one, but it is still close to home for me. A few mates had their labels and livelihoods stripped bare due to the Made in China shift. You could argue that that was simply capitalism and market trends, but what happened to supporting your local Aussie shaper and the rest of the industry. Maybe I?m just stuck in the past in that regard. I do know that the surf industry is a fickled one. That?s one of the reasons why I didn?t go in that direction.
Lastly, and at the risk of coming across confrontational again, I suggest that all brands/stores/industry owners should be formally identified and asked to pay some kind of special membership fee. Some posters on Seabreeze seem to have something along those lines, but not all.
<div>
On the same subject, perhaps an updated Seabreeze site too could have each poster?s IP address showing, just like on Hot Copper (share trading & investment forum), which would show who is swimming with no clothes on (think multi-nickname posters etc).
I think that most posters would prefer a forum that allows for discussion without brands. However, I am aware that you could easily argue that the site needs revenue and that some brands may feel the need to defend themselves at times, such as above.
Perhaps better forum moderation is something also to look at, along with one?s own delivery of posting, case in point again.
I?m going to leave it there, for good too. I won?t be replying again here on this thread. You could PM me if there is a need but I?ll be mozzing on over somewhere else.

Here we go again ladies and Gentlemen?.
Well looks like someone is trying to wind the windows up and blend into other surfcraft forums so they don?t get caught out.
Unfortunately I am going to choose to defend myself as opposed to letting sleeping dogs
lie (excuse the pun).
It seems "Talk To Me?" is not only utilizing this forum to sprook the brand he is in bed with (check past posts before he deletes them), but also to incite a political vendetta against me and my business for personal reasons. The company that you "support" so heavily online is also producing ?clear skin? boards manufactured in China. Ignite this debate on a shortboard forum instead of slandering me on a SUP forum.
It is also very suspicious that someone who is only (quote)
"Semi-keen on the idea of SUPing" posts frequently to this forum sprooking the same brand in the majority of posts while attempting to stay at arms reach. It is even more irregular that you claim to have snapped your
10'6 Naish Nalu recently? even though you are toying with the whole
"idea of Suping". Did you reverse over someone's at the beach mate? Or are you mocking everyone on this forum.
I agree with you that your communication was "poor".
I would actually like to elaborate on that and say that it was and is downright disgraceful! The way you are trying to back your way out of the corner you threw yourself into is cowardly and unprofessional. You picked this debate.. don't run away just yet, I'm only getting started.
"Talk To Me" throws up the suggestion that these forums need to be moderated and that all
"brands/stores/industry owners should be formally identified" . Thoughts anyone? Hell I already threw myself under that bus. I personaly think that if individuals stopped talking smack about other companies you wouldn?t need to suggest this and I could then sign up with a cool name like ?Double Standards?.
Opinion is one thing but to slander based on assumption and political gain is another.
I say just delete yourself and webworld would be a better place.
On the subject of transparency though, and without being hypocritical, what's your real name and who do you work for?
Lets get the ball rolling now and swim nude. I love swimming nude.
A simple "Sorry I F#$ked up and had a hidden agenda" would suffice. Don't continue this by making flimsy excuses and lying to everyone.
Delete yourself so that we can get on with learning, sharing ideas and supporting this sport.
You don't need to PM me, you know who I am and where I work.
