I am loving the new MA foils from Naish. Here's a quick video from Sunday's session out Foil Bay. It was hardly breaking and super windy offshore, so not easy to paddle in (or even stay on foil if a gust hit you), but some good glides to be had.

Riding the Naish Hover 110CU Coupled with the Naish MA1200 with 280HA rear on the 64cm fuselage and C35/95cm mast.

The MA1200 is AR4.4. Pumps way better than I imagined and loves to turn. Had heaps on fun on it.

Enjoy,

Ride safe,

If I take this ride as an exemple :

I'm with the Unifoil 170, it is easy to pump even when you loose all the speed and momentum. Right now, I don't think I would be able to do the same ride with the Armi 925, which is too bad because I know it will be faster on the wave and I it would handle better the wash hit. So I'm confused...

hi mate. what do you think is a good tail for the hyper 170, short fuse for a beginner prone (or winging which I usually do mostly) .. would the flare be a good beginner starter tail? I weight 65kgs and waves are weak 1-3 footers. Tks. I been advised a chopped down race will be good, just worried about its lack of stability initially.

I use mostly a chop race tail (14") or a KD 13", I have never used the Flare but it should work fine.

If you put a KD 13 on the HA925 it will drop the stall speed way down and you can pump from a low speed with no momentum ,but you will loose the top end ! depends on what's more important to you.
