and the other one which is likely the best out there is James Casey's coaching club. If you get footage of yourself him breaking it down every week is amazing.

Ok here you go. I'm always behind the scenes testing tons of stuff . I ride all foil genres but prone is my number one. I've lost count of my prone boards over the past 3 or 4 years or so but more than 15 but under 20. I've gone from Tuttle 6-0 50 litre boards down to 4-2 x 27 litre but now settled on 4-5 x 32 litres. For the record, I'm 88 kg and 58yr . Riding Cabrinha 1000 & 800 , prone & ding.

This is my latest DC 4-5 x 19-1/4 x32 litres , bit of a cross between the Amos Raptor & new JS Black Eagle . Principal design theory. Wider nose entry for more paddle in speed and better rebound off wave . Super pulled in tail , for release off wave and rebound off tail contacts. This shape works well with our tow in boards. I'm off to Fiji next month so I have a more scooped-up nose for those late drops. I don't get my boards for free but work closely with Dale to take some risk for the betterment of all foilers

Yes my new board looks the same, can't wait to get. Except I will have the fin box far forward.

Just spoke to Adam:- They have no tail rocker like the old ones , flat with the deck , boxes 2" further forward than old ones. Still not sure on delivery yet.

Interesting looking board Rob. Intriguing to have tear drop shape, with more width forward. How thick is middle? The side photo looks like it has tail rocker from rapered thickness but may be an optical illusion

The reason I don't really like Instagram, is there is no discussion. I prefer the message boards for that, but there's less and less people posting on them.

Amos has another new design almost ready, this one has 16" tracks which will accommodate the opposing preferences of Kujira's and Lift wings.

Yes this board was a bit of an experiment but worked out amazing , I'm so stoked . It's sort of got the JS nose & Amos tail . Boxes are dead flat no tail rocker at boxes but cuts away after that . The wider nose just lets you pick up waves so much easier and all the cut aways just pop it back up on touch downs. I'm off you Fiji in a few weeks and I wanted a board that will handle late take offs and a nose that wouldn't stick if it made contact in the drop. 4-5 x 18-3/4 x 3"'x 32 litres

Piros - that DC board looks great. So simple and shape makes sense. How is the bottom contour up front? And rails?

cant remember if I showed the forum this series of boards I made:

Bottom shape and box construction works in the same way as corrugated cardboard so it is super stiff length wise. Boxes are glued in after lamination. Adds strength and makes it watertight no matter what you throw at it. And boxes are pretty long.
Shape outline is widepoint forward. Same theory as the DC board. Early paddle-in

Well.. there is no magic. I use vacuum technique with highest pressure possible, and peelply/release-film/wool-thing so that there is minimum epoxy in the matrix.
Pictures of test I made that got me convinced:

It is insanely rigid for a thin carbonfibre laminate

Any feedback on how the corrugation impacts release and planing feeling? Interesting idea and certainly an easy way to win stiffness. It could even be on the deck if you make it narrow enough
