I always foil surf on my days off (at sunrise) and need clarification regarding the Covid allowed exercise rule as it appears to be a bit unclear regard sup foiling in the ocean?:-)

I have literally got the same question re: windsurfing. I saw an article regarding surfing being a grey area - i guess so long as it is done solo it cant really be seen as a virus spreading risk

During the Northern Beaches red zone lockdown last Christmas, we were still allowed to windsurf as it was exercise. The only thing I see different this time is that they specify no more that 10 exercising in groups outside. I'd say we're good to go!

Yea I also had the same thought that it should be "good to go" (also I will be by my self with no one around) as it appears less strict this time round but thought I would ask anyway:-)

Yes it's fine the rules clearly say exercise is allowed within Sydney metro. No distance limit nor within your LGA only restrictions.

I was the same so checked NSW Health. As Alysum said ... "Exercise and take outdoor recreation in Greater Sydney".
