So it seems it is the season for the southern birds to fly north for warmer climes.

Here in Bundaberg the urge to migrate is hardly felt with the fair borough of Bundaberg being rated as having the best rated climate in Australia and the 5th best climate in the world based on the least temperature change between summer and winter.
Added to that is the beautiful Burnett River, boasting an all weather entry, multiple anchoring options, full and comprehensive yacht services (sorry, no riggers in town except me) and the cheapest provisioning on the east coast due to the town being the welfare capital of Australia. They say it is the fat arse capital of Australia too and from what I see in the streets it is hard to argue the point.
That all being as it may be, those of the Seabreeze community that have met with my good self on their way north or south can only say that their welcome has been warm, hospitality and logistic support offered genuine and generous.
So if any of you southern birds flying north enter the sacred Burnett River, I expect to hear from you.
