Hi Guys,

Took up the sport last year and didnt get out anywhere near enough, so this summer making it a focus to get out as much as i can and progress a lot more

Looking for other riders/beginners that would be interested in hooking up and going wherever the wind may be, wether it be melbs or down the coast.

Anyway pm me if your keen

I've only not long started, still working on water starts and such. Definitely keen to get out more, but have no one to go with.

I am also a beginner kite surfer. I am looking forward to meeting others new to this sport. I am basically looking for a beginner buddy to go to kite surfing with.

My expectation is to meet another beginner to help each other, watch out for each other, learn from each other. Please contact me if interested.

Ill be up for that once ive done my next ( get up ) lesson. Better places than Helltona and Crapkilda to go through the initial learning curve though.

Hey guys,

I'm also looking for kite buddies in melbourne or south-east melb. I've been kiting for a couple of years, I'm not a beginner but my kiting progression has been slow. If anyone is keen for kiting sessions in the surf/bay or needs a hand starting out, hit me up!

Also keen for some kite buddies, only know one person that kites so don't get to go out as much as I'd like to, am riding up wind etc

Probably this weekend joel, if the weather is good for it! This sunday will probably suit me better. Hopefully there is some 20 knot wind-action somewhere!

Hi Iconicbuck and joel,
keen on joining you guys if enough space for me; i'm an experienced kiter who's been stuck in melbourne for too long (because don't have a car), and hasn't met many other kiters unfortunately. If you guys are driving to Altona and down to Geelong this week end (preferably sunday), i'd be glad to be part of it looks like sunday may be a good day

Where do u usually go? Wev been headin out to Mordy-Aspendale heaps lately but anywhere really along there from carum-mordy

hey. i have only just got my gear - so i haven't been anywhere apart from my lessons at st kilda. keen for a hook up though. mordy looks ok in a S/SW. you going on saturday?

i'm from fitzroy. i think i will try altona on saturday and inverloch on sunday. i'll check the wind on the weekend anyway and if i come down past your way i'll send you a message.

Been having my lessons there, pretty good but not alot of launch area when the tide is up. Watch out for the urchins

I'll be down at Altona in a month until June. Keen to get out with some other beginners. Will the winds be steady in March-June? Or is it very hit and miss?

Possibly heading to Point henry tomorrow early avro, trying to get up on the board, wind looks good. Will know more depending on the forecast tomorrow morning.
