Gorgo, what happens when you Go to gybe the board around. ??
I had a much better session today. I was using a smaller kite that I could park deeper in the window.
I was able to link a number of gybes from toeside to heelside on downwind runs, and complete a number of full direction changes in a reasonably elegant style.
What seems to be happening is that the foil is much more efficient than my Liquid Force. If I get my weight in the wrong spot on the board during a transition it is like giving the foil a command, and it responds straight away and zooms off in whatever direction it wants. That can result in me falling, or loading the kite lines and sending it hard to the edge of the window. Either way, I crash, or settle into the water.
At one point I was in the water and the board was up on the foil doing a half circuit of me all by itself.
The events are very similar to being a foil beginner, except I've experienced them before and it is easier to progress through them.
