There is a big quality difference between Pansh and the premium companies like Ozone and Flysurfer. Whether you need the high quality is a separate issue but the difference is there.

There is no evidence they are racing. The Pansh is keeping up with the Ozone. A reseller and "site sponsor" is in direct competition with a direct brand like Pansh. This means you have an extreme bias to be negative towards Pansh. Which you are being. It also means that this website has a financial bias to support your bias.

Flysurfer and any other foil kites can suffer internal tears. The smaller sizes when used in high winds will break when crashed. I suggest your try get a honest answer from Flysurfer why they don't make small foils any more or haven't for a long time...

Flysurfer has also had some significant quality problems in the past.

Foil kites can be harder to relaunch when they take on water. They are not impossible but require more skill. Certain kites drain water better than others. Flysurfer is the best. Ozone has been bad. Pansh is similar to Flysurfer but does not have permanent openings in the tips. These can be made easily.

The "jackomixer" mod, which significantly improves Pansh kites for many, does affect relaunch negatively. It has less affect on the A15 than the Genesis. This is because of the bridle positions on the kite. Relaunch does work though for both kites with it, though much better on the A15.

Pansh is the best value kite gear you will find. Their quality is not nearly as bad as is often made out by resellers and other shills often found bad mouthing them. The Pansh price is exceptional, but much of that comes from the method of selling and not many other factors. When buying a kite at retail about 50% goes to the reseller and 25% goes to the brand. There is also various government fees and sometimes excess shipping, as in the kite can zigzag over the world to you. With Pansh you are really only paying the factory so the 25% left after the reseller and brand takes their bit. The kite is also shipped directly to you avoiding waste.

Where Pansh is lacking is in their designs and a little bit of quality. Their designs have a lot of room for improvement, but they have been improving year after year. Their latest racing kite the Aeolus looks very good as can be seen in the videos above. The kites like Genesis and A15 while good could be greatly improved without much work and a significant cost reduction to make.

This is what you are missing from the more expensive brands. They have much more talented designers, who can spend much more time designing kites, because you are paying for it. Kite design like all design is not an entirely original affair. Things are tended to be copied between different brands. Foil kites have experienced less of this but tubes have it a lot. Which is sad because even a brand like Ozone has and still suffers because it won't take ideas from Flysurfer which worked out many things more than a decade ago. Need to change a bridle at the kite on an Ozone? or adjust it's length? Enjoy dissembling everything... Not so on a Flysurfer.

Ideas are slowly getting through to Pansh, but in some ways they go backwards. It would be good if any of the main brands dropped resellers so they could increase their value by lowering prices. I think with the current plandemic and excess money printing we are all going to be in for some price shock with new gear. Already Pansh is raising prices. I hear inflation in China is currently big.

I have. Took out my Pansh Genesis 10m for the first time yesterday. Bit gusty and I'm too inexperienced with foil kites to really put a review together with an hours exposure as its quite different to LEIs

I think a lot of the negativity comes from comments trying to generate too much optimism about the products. Too many kites try to be allrounders. The pansh kite models can be good if applied to the correct type of activity but I don't think they stack up as well compared to the allround models from other brands. Nothing wrong with narrow use kites - look at how popular the Flysurfer Peak 4 is. I'm not sure that works all that well on a surfboard even but its immensely popular for surf hydrofoiling.

Since kites became mega bucks, the idea of a kite that you might outgrow seems to have become an anathema. I like the idea of a brand producing functional products at a price that I don't mind if I outgrow it and want to move onto something more premium.

I'm just confused why he is constantly spamming a capa thread with Pansh videos. One I could understand but after all of them it start getting annoying.
