Have ridden this kite a few times and it's ok, stable and predictable. It is definitely not a fast kite though - compared to RRD Religion, Obsession and Type 9. that being said, most riders who cruise around in the surf will like it
f**k dont you guys have anything better to do than this ****. I come here to check out reviews and all i see is a bunch of narrow minded freaks ranting on with 2 pages of dribble. If you dont like them then dont ride them, simple. I dont ride a cab but there a lot of people who like to and thats there right. I dont care what the next guy rides as long as they like it and no one else should either. I ride an Octane. is there two pages of bla bla against them too. Im sure there is but keep your opinions to yourself if you dont have anything really constructive to say.

I think this has proven to everyone what waxman is really like. To answer his assumptions, yes I live with my parents, not that has anything to do with him, and the best part is that being an apprentice I know I would struggle otherwise. But my big question is how this man has all the balls to have a massive go on a public forum but doesn't say much at all on the local beach where we all kite together. Just shows how much of a man waxman really is. I am glad that everyone has had the chance too see what he is really like...

By the way, personal remarks like those that Waxman has made are way out of line. Don't feel you need to justify anything, cause you don't.
You certainly talk a big game Waxman, then you don't have the conviction to stand by your own posts, deleting them instead. (unless the Mods did it of course) If not perhaps you should think harder before pressing post.

You know its a shame that everyone in the kitesurfing family use to be the best off mates 3-4 years ago (in whyalla and im sure else where to) and now its nothing more than a heap of people obviously with PMS problems bitching their little hearts out......

Retzy, me and you go backs fair way and have had our good and bad times, some of which I caused by giving up riding for you guys and riding for whom I am now. But the cause of all of this $h1t is actually a team rider for you whom seems to know a lot more bout kiteboarding than most people in the world. If this person, who I guess everyone knows by now, kept to posting what he actually knew compared to what he thinks he knows and getting personal with people there would not be an issue at all. Just my two cents, I too have had enough of this...

Came to this thread rather late and really didn't miss much other than more of the typical bully-girl schoolyard sandpit shananigans that as stated is so common these days.

Kites fly, they all fail in some areas. There is no perfect kite that does everything perfectly. Get real foil hat wearers.
Despite the hypo-mega-improved claims from ALL manufactureres if you push a kite design too far in one direction (performance, upwind, boost, tree attraction, whateverthefek) you lose in other areas. Simple as that.
Don't kid yourself if you believe the BS that manufacturers put out there then that aint their fault - it's yours lambykins.
Blake at the end of the day i dont care if you sit in the carpark with a cabrinah sticker on your car. If you have a problem, which you obviously do and arent a man enougth to deal with it and continualy slag people off down the beach( a lot of that gets back to people you are slaging off). you need to expect some critisism. Being a child and pulling down advertisement for the local kite school is just wrong. If you have a problem with me come down the beach and we will sort it out. Leave out people that arent involved.

That was not me... i did hear about that at the beach tonight when i arrived with people accusing me of it, but here is the fundamental problem... I WAS 400KM AWAY WHEN IT HAPPENED... i was in Adelaide from Thursday last week, so before you start accusing people have some proof, not just rumour. And as for you being at the beach... your never there, you are as bad as me At least i have an excuse and that is i travel very regularly to see my other half which is the reason i was away when the vandalism occured...

Now for the so called fake login. I did create a false login for one night, and that was when the forum topic 'are cabrinha kites that uncool' was created. Now for everyone to know, i listed every brand of kites out there in separate topic names so everyone had a chance to bash every kitebrand as much as they wanted. I thought i was evening up the pitch, but in any case they were all removed by the moderators, which is completely up to their discretion. For your information waxman, since that night i have not used it and just so everyone can check the login name was CABRINHAKITE. and yes waxy i did go to the beach and laugh about how it only took less than three hours for all the topics of mine to be deleted... so your really a hero for exposing the biggest conspiracy of the 21st century

And finally to my rant, your comments about me slagging people off.... i think we can all say we are not perfect and i have had a bitch about some people, but also have told them to their face what i don't agree with... so when your finished... i have had enough of this cr@p. Hmmmm, Had forgotten why I have only kited at the foreshore twice this season until I started reading this crap. You guys are doing nothing for our sport, your local spot, your mates and your so called sponsors. Get over it and remember why you started kiting in the first place.

yep, no local shop sponsorship deal is worth this much angst. ride what you like, have fun, and let others do the same.
the crew who read this stuff are smart enough to know the difference between a review, a pimp-fest, and a brand-bash. if you want to post a review based on experience, great. if not, save your energy for something constructive.
if you're not enjoying kiting, take a break. if you're not getting on with your local crew, either find a way to resolve it peacefully, or give each other some breathing room till something shifts.
