At long last, looks like ozone have dropped the Kite race scene and gone back to the pure boosting warp speed Kite that we have been missing for a few years, beefed up Le and trailing edges, making a more responsive canopy/ frame , apparently a much quicker reacting Kite to bar input, which means increased speed through the window and increased boost and height with the correct pilot , an 8 should be insane for high 20 to mid 30s, pretty tempted,

V10

Biggest changes to Edge V9

New tip shapes giving faster and better turning speed making for much nicer handling and bigger jumps.

Smoother feel through the bar.

Increased canopy support for more stability and keeping its shape in high winds.

V9edge is my favoritest kite ever.
The only problem I've ever had is when tether launching, the up in the air steering line sometimes catches around the outside of the wing tip, and being in a rush to get out, i don't realise it until it goes up in the air. None of my other kites do this.
But then again, none of my other kites are anything like the edge

The old race series edge had the stability in feel to a fifth line, I had a 9 as my smallest Kite ,but definitely had to go smaller as they lightened everything up for the race scene, I'm gonna take a plunge on an 8 but it'd be interesting to see how stable it'd become with a fifth loaded of course
they really looked like they'd put a huge amount of time into getting it right
a trial Kite I looked at had attachment points all over the Le to refine the tuning

8m V9 is good for 40knts with high rocker board.
Perfect combo if you you have wind that does not turn off and drop you.

My 11m instinct edge II is for sale in the buy & sell thru adventure sports Noosa. 5 line 7 strut jumping beast was my daily driver till a year ago. Virtually giving it away too

Best promo video ever was from the V8.

Other brands focus more on adjectives and garbage prose. This just has a typical nutcase sending it in 40knots and it's fantastic.
