JohnnoKeys said...I thought they would stick together and bully a hole through the other kiters, perfect tatics, these lads really got the goods on everyone else. The tatics are very formula windsurf style, where the top guys push all others out on line and then race off against each other, almost imposiable to beat 3-4 top guys/girls covering the start. I reckon a single kiter would be hard pressed to ever win a race unless you got the perfect start, the team kiters could easy block and slow other kiters down. Hey kite racing just got really, really fun. No place for the timid ....
Great info Marvin can't wait to get into the water again and get fit. Boyz set those coarses 3km to upwind mark and we will all will on the money .... kite every wind from 6knots to 35knots and we are set for next year ... Cool

The only problem all the Aussie ladz will be on different boards - Ahhh but in 2012 all racers will be on pretty much 190x70 race boards, I reckon race boards will be much less important over the next 12 months. Evens the field heaps.
... just like how C kites have gone (Vegas and Torch for example). What's C kites got to do with it, well, all things will get better and better over the years as designs get better and better. Brand A coming from one direction, Brand B coming from another direction. All to be the best and ultimate design, but very different from each other.
Ultimately, the two kites will be so similar that you can't tell the difference between the two.
Eventuallly, the race boards will be the same, kites will be the same and it will be the rider that makes the difference. One design!!
So, exactly what Jonnokeys says, the differences will slow down and it will be rider dependant!
cheers for now,
Robbie
