S/h pricing is self policing. The item is only worth what someone is prepared to pay. So if its listed for higher than that it wont sell. The seller will reduce the price over time until it sells.

Then when it sells that's what its worth!

Exactly! This thread is laugh worthy, probably started by the same goose who was having a cry on Aussie Boarders Swap Shop last week .

Meh. Someone has to stir the dead pool

2011 Best Waroo - 13 metre

only 850...been in storage since 2011...

fckn bargain fellas...

Lets say you start to lean to kite, buy a $2500 kite from the local kite shop. Then its just too hard and you mothball the kite in the corner of your garage always intending to give it another go. 5 years go past and you think I better sell this thing. Its hardly ever been used. Some dude will get a freaken deal $2500 for $850.

Simply you have no idea of the high depreciation of kites.

That's spot on! And I was bagged on FB for pointing out the obvious. Arrghhhh bunch of tossas that know better than me! MEHHHHHHH

Picked up my 9m Fuel for $500/with bar. 6 months ago

Same year.

Being a bigger kite and an RPM, I recon if you drop it to $700. It will sell.

I agree a lot of the second hand gear on here is way overpriced but there are still some amazing deals to be had-

2015 Naish Fly, very little use, literally as new condition, kite only $1000 (less than half new price)

2013 BWS Noise Pro 10m $450 with bar (above the bar de-power)

absolute bargains !!

PM me if your keen!!

The noise pro is now sold ( bargains like these don't last)

The fly is still up for sale and light wind season is just around the corner!!

I actually agree - the gear is far overpriced (in general) in Oz. I would have thought prices come down because more and more people are picking up kiting....
I wanted to get a Rebel 2015 8m - and the person was asking for $1250 (without bar)!
