Merimbula is 23 - 26 as well.

Wasn't intended , this time of year has plenty happening with mambo, red bull lighthouse, ocean classic, too early can be fickle with winds, too late and brands and retailers won't benefit so won't be keen to show late release equipment, I'm aware that some would prefer it at other times but I Carnt please everyone,

Good effort. Gero is the perfect spot. The 2005 Nationals rocked.

If you are planning a big event, you need to think about transport from Perf to Gero. and cheap accom. Also, IMO the event should be free. Let the locals offer the food stalls etc., saves the committee heaps of logistics. Sure, org. a concert(s) and sell tickets to those, but keep it low cost. Gero is a haul and if the price of tickets is $100 plus then many will give it a miss.

Good luck with it.

Are we able to get a google map location link of the beach...

It still blows my mind to think the older pros were doing all the fancy tricks way back when. It'll be truly inspiring to see them Rockin the place with their collective moves and no doubt bring back any stoke - if youve lost some over Winter.

A Fun weekend Low key Event sounds great

I recommend Ocean West, its right alongside Back Beach and Point Moore, is affordable and has good facilities for family as well.

Hey Cauncy,
Thanks to yourself and others organsing. Good its in hands of kiters. Have you contacted Toby from Kiteforum at all? Long way from home but hey can only ask and he'd no dount add to the spectacle on tje beach. Myself and a few others have booked house in Gero just counting the months down. Feels like its gonna be a great thing, first of many years perhaps! Is appearance money really a thing for "pro" kiters???

Appears so,
the event is a non profit gig, if it were then the would be some money in the bank to attract the biggest names, Ruben Lenten sent his costings to attend, it'd be nice to see some brands support, after all we buy their gear, so not a big ask to send a brand rider

Just my opinion, but i think it stinks a little. The vibe you guys are creating feels perfect, laid back/fun/casual. If someone needs to be paid to come to promote their brand/s....stay home. No doubt there's lots of things your trying to incorporate that cost $

If anything big names should be contributing $ not the other way around. Just my opinion of course. I think Toby aka mr airstyle would struggle to hold onto his 18m Norths in proper West Aussie breeze, be awesome to see him try anyway :-) He could pay his airfare with Dvds sales on the beach after putting on a show for the crowd.
