Why get on here and bag out a product you have never seen or had any experience with. it's good to be sceptical when a company tries to sell you there latest and greatest but to completely write it off before you have even the slightest clue as to whether or not it works is just stupid.

Yes when these new products come out the only people writing good reviews are the team riders and shops/ sellers but that is because the products haven't been released to general public yet so they are the only ones who've tried them !

Whether the hype is real only time and experience will tell. I for one am very happy to see a "new improved better than ever " kite material being put out. Whilst some innovations aren't always on point or even necessary, better more durable kite material is something that is an important step forward to the sport.

Whether or not this be stuff from Naish is really better we can only wait and find out, I will definitely be keeping an eye on the reviews and info coming through down the track and I hope it really is better as this is an important aspect of kite design that can do with a lot of improvement.

Part of the point I was making is that when these products are released the only people able to make reviews are the team riders/ shops as they are the only ones who have tried the products. These reviews are of course not fair and unbiased so take these with a grain of salt but you cannot blame the companies for trying to promote their products.

What I was saying is wait til the dust settles and you can actually get fair unbiased reviews, then people can make an informed decision as to whether a product really works as it says- trolling the product as soon as it is mentioned ( not directed at you colo more the others on this thread) does not help the ongoing improvement of kite gear.

Do you guys walk down the supermarket Isle like " oh look Kellogg's just brought out a new type of cereal who the f##k do they think they are!!"

if its really stiff, i wonder how well it will pack away in the bag. time after time fold after fold, roll after roll.
some weirdos like to make sure their kite is folded on the same crease every time they pack up. not good.

overall the torch with the ESP mode delivers more depower but still is a full Torch DNA. The Park delivers wider range but far from the same perfomances of the Torch in boosting, slack of the lines, looping etc.

Overall the ESP mode on Torch is like the traction control on you Lambo :)

quoting myself, i would spend more time on the bar than on the kite.. the bars are really well done this time, and the line set up on the torch is totally different from the past 5/8 years series...(as far as i could remember)

But be careful if you over inflate the ozone's it looks like this.........

Another interesting thing I've come across along the way is that black ripstop far outlasts any other colour. I'd always thought black lasted and looked better for longer on my kites, but just recently I saw some hard test info proving it to be so. Fluro colours white and blue wore out the quickest. I'd always heard Blue was bad because it has to absorb the most spectrum to put out the colour we see, but fluro and white seemed to be just as bad.
