I've actually never seen much good footage with a go pro for kiting with camera mounted on board helmet or lines, very boring to watch as your either looking at some dudes arms, legs or board with no real perspective of the whole scenario ,really like to see rider and kite at same time so panned back aspects far more watchable, drone footage is definitely the way of the future in my opinion
Has anyone encountered an overzealous clubbie at nobbys.this guy pulled up a kiter cause he was walking along the beach.not kiting walking.he said he cant walk through the flags even though they were 30 mtres from the water
white is the way to go. much better value for money. The copied Go pros that Harvey Norman sell are a go too. They shoot in full HD and only cost a fraction of the price. They are called an sports action cam. Around $100 from memory.
I bought a Kogan Full HD cam for my kids, paid $149 for the full sports model came with a swag of mounts and a remote on a wrist band arrangement, I bought two extra surfboard mounts total price was under $200. Camera works great, kids thrashed it on their bikes, surfboards, boogie boards, helmets, son even taped it on to his fishing rod. video quality was fine. Just make sure its washed in fresh water after every use, I found that the pins in the cover started to rust quickly if not washed with fresh water, obviously not stainless steel, but apart from that a great little camera. I think if you get the sports pack and then buy a couple of cameras you could setup quite a good video and still be half the price of a GOPRO. Kogan has full warranty on everything they sell, just ring them or email and they will arrange to have anything faulty picked up and repaired or replaced, I've bought all sorts of stuff from them and had no issues.
