Well time will tell re the new materials, but I can tell you 1 thing, the new 9m Dice, which has supposedly just had a tweak, not new materials, is substantially better than last season. Believe Arron! They've done away with pulleys and made it much more responsive. only about 40mm between hard and soft settings has a massive difference to feel. Back to back against my 10m Reo V4(admittedly dated by a few years) the new Dice was very impressive and definitely more powered. The weight I measured is 2792g, my sons 2020 9m Dice measured at 3078, though I guess it could be holding a bit of salt/moisture. So that's nigh on 300g saving! They're doing something wrong if the SLS only saves a couple hundred grams more.

Are they using new lighter material in the bladders as well or is it just the cloth ?

There's no mention of a reduction in the bladders. I think it would be a big deal.

The only company that i've seen talking about reducing bladder weight was the Allula guys. Nothing recently tho.

Yea after making a lot of noise about the super duper new bladders at the beginning of year O.R. have gone very quite about them now and imagine we have forgotten about their claims. I think they might introduce them after a couple of months at an exorbitant price
