If you wish to discover culture go wave riding and also go kiting till you drop dead, then your choice should be Sri lanka :-)Example, during the summer months, you can kitesurf on the west coast , Kalpitiya and then when you have had enough of kiting, move from west coast to the east coast and enjoy laid back surfing. Going to this place in Sulawesi in August, looks interesting, wind farm in area which is promising.

Go to the East coast of Taiwan during our spring and summer, it's their autumn and winter. Waves typically range from 3 - 6 feet and the wind kicks in around 12 noon between 20 - 40 knots. Barely any Kiters on that side of the island. I've been 4 times, I'm going again. You'll defintely need your Steamer up north. The southern end of Taiwan is warmer, a Spring suit is the go. Strongest winds are down south.Go check it out

If you go to Taiwan ???? then Penghu island is unbeatable
30-40 knots on regular basis with big kickers from November to March
