...... its been f'ing awesome lately, nice swell turned up yesterday and today with some skinny indo 20 knots, even got the green bit of cloth up in the sky to pull the foam and fibre-glass under my feet around some lumps that made this big lad almost pee his pants (not really but you get the idea) when it closed out,,,,,,,,,,,,loving dropping in man!!!!!

Great to hear your still clocking up the miles.

Wish i could start my holidays again. Ear infection has cleared up. Had a tooth out, all good now.

Hey Chris,
Just be carefull, there is a big fella with a beard that flies a big green North kite that gets sh11ty if you drop in on him.

If you get abused just tell him there a Bintan with his name on it at Putu's.

... and I cracked it again yesterday,,,,, man, what is it with these TT people constantly cutting in front of you, miles of room they keep kite high downwind of you,,,, geeze!

Sorry ChrisNT, swell dropped off a fair bit but on the plus side, plenty of wind for big kites, 13 out of 14 days so far 'aint bad so far!

Yeah your right Edward, i was a grumpy old bastard. I like most males don't do pain very well.
I really do love our time there.
Might of been a hasty call.

I went to my dentist a couple of weeks before my holidays to make sure the choppers were ok. All good now.


Those kites do get a flogging so not totally surprised.Smiley is still smiling.

... still epic here, nice wind again! Threw caution to the wind and took off on a low tide session knowing full well I wasn't make it back without walking the reef, but man what a pay off, found some epic little rights in the land of the lefts at Oka Point, some even head high!!!

Only eyewitness accounts, I find it hard to take photos and jump things but did it a third time last Monday and I nearly ate it That's three beers you owe me.

... local dudes got skillz man, give him a f'd up kite in the arvo, all wet and sandy,,,,, damn thing is ready to fly next morning alllllll fixed.

He fixed my kite just recently and my repair job was in a sheeet of a spot, where strut meets LE, but $50 later and all good,,, would have normally been a $200 job at home!

Ask for Kadek at any of kite schools!

Kedek must do alright out if kite repairs, all be it very cheap in our eyes.

I can remember at least 6 kite repairs from Bagus kiting area in the last 3 weeks.

... last day for us was a ripper,,, had mid tide action on small but juicey waves at Blue Reef and head high at Oka, even had to slightly depower yeehaa, only missed one day out of 16 days so hit rate pretty good,,,,yup,,,, Bali Weather Now is pretty good!!

Guezz, i thought i was watching Mr Squiggle for a minute.
Pretty impressive. What was the ratio bewteen Bintan to km ?

That gives a total different view of what i thought that area would look like from above.

... gett'n old now so slowed down this year but if you keep the numbers before 6pm at around 10 per day, with 703 km,,,,,, that's 4.68 km per Bingtang!!!! . Hate to think after hours numbers too
