Spoke to the organizers o the heaven can wait regatta today, after pitching our idea to them they seemed keen and are getting back to me Monday. Thought that 1 support boat per 4 riders for this race will be the go. They also understand that it's going to be a late call due to our weather dependency. Just gotta hope for 15-18 now. Will keep everyone posted. Looking like 8 of us at the moment. 3 from Sydney and 5 from the lake.

And I will be happy to pitch in my share of fuel money for a support boat and I guess we might need to buy a beer for the driver

Looks like the moths won it last year in about 2.75hrs so we can expect to be racing for a similar amount of time

Will be interesting now kites are becoming part of the yachting world for racing to see how they handicap us with all the different rig sizes etc we can have on any given day

It could get interesting, I see the record was only 2hr 11min set back in 2010
That is flying and would be hard to beat
Hope we get good wind speed and direction
