What's the point to this thread?

What are you trying to achieve by posting? You bought a cheap power tool, it was broken, you took it back, they replaced it for you.

If you're going to buy the cheapest power tools you can, then you can only expect that they'll be the first to break.

A three year warranty on what is probably the cheapest replicating saw you can buy at bunnings, sounds like quite a reasonable deal to me.

If you want something that'll last you 5 plus years buy something better than Ozito or Ryobi.

I had an Ozito sander that lasted quite a while, but vibrated so harshly I thought my elbows would come apart. When it died I replaced it with a Makita and was shocked at how smooth and comfortable it was to use. I only Buy Makita and Bosch Blue now. Beautiful tools.

The "Spanner" of the left, is made from "special steel". When they are tapped together, they make music. I found a box, somewhere secret, im going to clean it out. :).

The spanner on the left, and the middle one are worth hanging onto.

Ditch the one on the right - its one of those dodgy metric thingo's, and they will never be much good for anything.

Is that a special screw driver with a curve shaft ? Does it go around corners ?

the best ones, on right. "special steel", Germany, imperial, it does not rust, and nice ring. it is almost 12 and 14?, middle. i broke the second one, straightening.

the screw driver is custom.

the others are all metric, best being the large, heaviest, in the middle. no rust. and nice ring. they are drop forge.

i am still missing a 16 metric.

the chrome planted, make a dull, out of tune sound. though the largest is good metal, sounds ok.

little, to no ware, or rust. the top not so good.

the new stuff, is cobalt. the drill bit, titanium plated, from bunnings. cobalt is best, they say titanium is for high speed.

and that old Skil will kill you quick smart not doubled insulated still uses a earth pin that wy theywent to the plastic body's late 60-70 and I have one of thos old Skil,s converted too 12v dc as a apprentices in the 70 go old drill will say the chuck seem to have been of better quality back then,but have a old friend loves bunnings tool's,got a 5/8"battery drill to build a fence went though 5 first time took back only the burnt out drill get replacement drill charger and two batterys so now has one new drill five chargers and nine battery's.

You two have certainly found the most appropriate topic. You guys are clearly total tools.

I have been trying to build a fence also, with Ryobi. So far, i have snapped 5, drill bits, scam, "pro series", and bent a chissel. They gave me an exchanged. The drill bits, have "dye" to look like titanium coating, and fake cobalt core. I learnt, Brute, champion platinum bits are best. My drill, is weak, bits always fall outs, and they are round at the end, omg. If i try too hard, it says, "malfunction", and i have to re set.

I emailed Ryobi. Patron. I gave them schematics, for a tool, im not sure if they will make. Also, exchange, able, motors.
