I have to acknowledge that Elon and me are almost on the same brain wave, with such difference that every Elons dream (idea) comes to fruition and none of mine.. I still try to push ideas,further, and after total critics from other side, I can see some progress now. For example I envision electric cars equipped with solar panel to recharge battery. Specifically for biger vehicles. Elon laugh off such idea some time ago, but now there is new van presented with solar panels. They claim that dayly recharge could provide 30 miles range. Another is mid air returning booster capture. Space x strongly refuse, but I am sure after some time they will reconsider.
Remember our discussion here about spiral welding rockets instead of patches? It looks next Spaceships will be spiral welded as we wish here.

Yes, you could have quantum brain-entanglement, going into the past with Elon Musk, or you could have read or heard about his ideas, as you say, 11 months before hand, and then remembered it, but as a unique thought.

I suspect you are right and its the first one. The second one about hearing or reading it and then forgetting it was already planned is just nonsense.

I am trying to remember the name of the book, but there was a book published that describes how most inventions are the result of iterations of change and that at the time a lot of people were working on the idea and that many people had the same concept. Its rarely that something is completely out of left field.

I.e. the wright brothers did not invent the aeroplane, but they are recognized with producing the first working example, and there may have been others before them or with exactly the same idea.

His Falcon rocket engine are just copy cut reverse engineering of decades old Russian rocket engines. Engines Rd180 that American use to buy from Russians because unable to replicate technology. Since somebody like Elon get old crew from NASA program that decipher and crack Russian patents. Similar story with electric vehicle constructed on laptop batteries.
I don't have team or funds. Funds for laptop battery to power my electric inventions. So my electric solar tractor is still running on battery for electric bicycle.

I think taking out a provisional patent would mean that he would have to actually research it to be sure of not wasting his $80... to find that its probably already something known.

There are some clever ideas out there so a new one would be surprising.

Newly created company doesn't have intrinsic value and like DogeCoin relay on public trust and stream of printed money channeled through stock exchange., Government subsidies ( Carbon tax credits is is going to stop going in one direction only.

Looking at picture it will be interesting to know : What is fair value of Tesla stock share price if become typical for ordinary motor company?

At some stage specialist consultation and treatment will be required, I am afraid.
