Whether the spill was intentional or not is highly debateable.

One thing that seems to be quite apparent is that the oil companies are more concerned about short term profits than the liveability of the planet.

Yes I do think. The oil companies have become so wealthy and powerful, and their directors and executives the same, that ego has taken over and they are no longer able to make rational decisions.

if you can get hold of it, read "A Century of War" Anglo-American Oil Politics and the New World Order by F.William Engdahl.

That will spell out what has happened from the 1890's to the 1990's up to the time of the first Gulf War.

The author is a historian and just tells it the way it happened.

There are evil bastards around and among them are the oil companies.

Sorry mate, but just facts of life.

So - if the gulf oil spill is the final act after which we all succumb to the giant plan, then may I query the past to better understand the future ?

One random example - rampant inflation in the 1970s, at the time shaped modern government fiscal policy while also creating mass strikes and industrial unrest.

If the theory holds true it must have been planned by the NWO, it was a mass global event, created not by science but by the actions of banks and governments.

So, my questions are :

Why did they do it ?
What did it achieve ?
And most importantly how is my life worse after the event than it would be now if inflation hadn't balloooned in the 70s ?

and also - how is airport security cramping my life ?

I have been through several australian airports in the last week and quite frankly as annoying as it is having to wait in line, it ain't much different from waiitng in line at the organic papaya stall to get the juiciest papaya.

If I wanted to control the world's population I certainly wouldn't do it through a metal detector at an airport.

How come the NWO, having the last 2,000 years to acheive it haven't managed to force mandatory identity cards onto Austrialians, Americans, British .....

Did you know the Chinese government holds more US dollars in its foreign currency reserves than the US Fed Bank. If the Fed bank wanted to mess with the US economy they best hope the Chinese play ball. If the Chinese dumped their reserves on the world markets the US dollar would be more worthless than a NWO job application form.

Arrrgh yes, plenty of evil people out there, but the balance between being evil enough to screw your neighbour and not so evil so as to co-operate unquestioningly loyally with a secret society based in Dallas, or Boston or wherever it is must be a very very fine balance.

And then they throw things at us like the swine flu non-pandemic, and we still don't know what it was about.

Maybe it was about the media not having many stories and, in trying to sell their paper when it is stacked next to 10 others, they sensentionalised what was said.

Maybe it was the way you read the news ? I do recall numerous articles comparing the swine-flu warnings to normal flu outbreaks and saying there isn't much difference. This wasn't suppressed, it just wasn't as sensational to read.

20 million people potentially dying is more likely to get your attention than 1 million people with autumn snuffles.

Carantoc, you're far too sensible for this thread.
I'm going to have to ask you to leave.

carantoc.....20 million people potentially dying is more likely to get your attention than 1 million people with autumn snuffles

of course, that is assuming that the swine flu vaccine would offer protection from a swine flu outbreak.

do people who take the flu vaccine have more protection from getting the flu than someone who has not taken the vaccine?

i believe not.

from my experience of life, the people who do not take the flu shot suffer significantly less from the flu than the people who actually take the shot.

they stay away from doing studies that compare vaccinated people to non vaccinated.

why?

the chinese pretty much have to play ball for the time being, they are only worth as much as their market allows. however they are dumping foriegn currencies and panic has begun to set.

Pardon me doc, but the articles you quoted above are dated around december 2006.
And you say "panic has begun to set." ?
Setting at the cracking pace of jelly out in the noon day sun I think.

It seems the panic is happening at a snails pace if rense.com reports it as an imminent disaster, and here we are 4 years, one recession, one president and two prime ministers later, and it still hasn't happened.

The reason China has done nothing to torpedo the US $ is simply because a large ammount of their reserves is in US $.
It would be like settling a dispute with your bank manager by setting fire to your own bank where all your money is held.
Something like shooting yourself in the foot I think.

And stop reading that "UNCENSORED magazine.." crap. It's rotting your brain out. Eventually you won't believe anything unless you've read it that worthless comic. (Hmm, maybe too late with that advice is it? )

Wait, wait just a minute... some people believe the sh!t is about to hit the fan maybe around October this year.

But how many have made plans?
I guess we all want the same thing, good food, good wind and piece.

I live in Sydney, and people around here are complete barbarians, so if the sh!t really does it the fan this place is not gona be nice.

So we need food + water + energy (fuel & electric) + security + temperate climate.

Food: So who's a farmer or knows one?
Energy: Who know's how to make bio diesel or petrol?
I have a couple solar cell... 90w I can use to recharge batteries :)

Security: ???
Climate: North NSW

Common I know some of u's have plans, letz us in on demz, plz.

if this economic crash/agenda does happen soon.

the middleclass + upperclass will get to experience what it's like to feel financial pain.

the non-believers to the con, that is around 95% of the population will still believe the 'official line' that is,the economic collapse was just bad management and not part any sinister plot to further the agenda.

so they will continue to believe the 'official line' as truth.

as for making plans........i have been watching Bear Grylls with due attention and have been picking up some valuable tips when the agenda starts to unfold.

how to make fire, how to find water, how to build a shelter etc etc.

with no food in the supermarkets after the economic crash hits, this basic knowledge could save your life.

have heard people buying dried-food rations that can last for years are selling very well esp in U.S.A.

drink/eat up while you can folks!

stock up on your tinned food,rice,weet-bix any dried food that can last.

and sit tight!

petermac33: I think you're being unduly pessimistic. It's completely irrational to believe the existing infrastructure will suddenly vanish... did you watch the "Road" or have you too been reading too much rense?

I don't think the situation will be any worse than the recent events in Argentina, which were bad!
Read: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argentine_economic_crisis(1999%E2%80%932002)#Immediate_effects

And now I'm flying with Aerolineas Argentinas to Buenos Aires in September.

The yanks have been building and buying fallout shelters since the 20's... and it's usually in the bible belt where they've been brain washed by evangelicals about the rapture, Armageddon stuff.

Australia has good food production, strong civil institutions and average infrastructure that should withstand at least 10 years of economic contraction... As long as the "government" does start trying to bail out failing "private" institutions or giving money way for people to be suckered in to debt they'll never be able to repay, we should do just fine... but maybe buy your kitesurfing/windsurfing stuff now.
