Website or applet where people could combine their interest in specific items in order to reach bulk size orders, then can be processed by this parallel import organizer.IN this example all is needed - 30 people willing to risk parral importing at a discounted price.

I've always found that US shipping costs have destroyed any savings made on the initial purchase.

As to USA they possibly could benefit massively , being able to ship their good to all over the world , not only Australia.Their internal shipping costs inside country are quire reasonable.But items send overseas should even attract additional promotion as export outside the county,
That is clear benefit for them if they could buy bulk staff in Japan ( or anywhere) and send at the profit somewhere else ( to Australia or Europe)

What I like about it is the design is it takes into account there is no operator. So the cost is reduced. Costs are also reduced by using standard parts, computer and sensors. Also it has a standard 3 point hitch and PTO shaft means it can be connected to a large number of implements. This machine looks like its in the early production stage and is listed at a base price of $14800 US in America. So I guess it would cost about $10K more landed here in Australian currency.
