and (B) the "missing person" was 43. Why didn't they just ring him or his brother and ask him if he wanted to be found or not? So far there has been no suggestion that he was a wanted man. Apparently he had a heart attack at work last year and left town. He has a right to privacy, so maybe the cops could have tried speaking to him to let him know that they could shut down the missing person case without telling the whole world where he was living.

Does that include his family who were looking for a loved one?

I am curious. Are you using my post just as an example or did you filter out Remery's post and not see what I was replying to?

There is no moon though. It's just painted on the dome. But if there is a moon, the US didn't go there, it was filmed in a studio. If that didn't happen, it is made from cheese, If that is not true 'we didn't have the technology to go there'.

It still makes me laugh when someone claims that the waving/fluttering flag was a mistake by the US and that it clearly shows them faking it and getting it wrong.

Well the opposite is to believe that the world is out to get you. It sounds exciting to think that there is some big story behind everything that happens in the world, but people are so imperfect that its not very likely anyone could pull it off.

Its sad that people go on about 'their narrative' but ignore the fact that they are following their own, and sometimes its way out of reality, and that's without adding meth to the mix. Then it seems things go really crazy.

I remember when I first got on the internet, there were these things called newsgroups. It was great. Lots of discussion, and people being generally polite and useful.

And then it wasn't. I think it was when more people other than academics got access to the internet. At that point it was obvious that it was not all going to be polite cvonversation. It was pretty much what we see today, just text-only. Not much has changed.

I agree 200% with you, unfortunately. My prediction is that very soon somebody will find out that pure, solid information about everything is good bizness. Somebody will buy Wikipedia and start charging for every bit of knowledge database. Everything else available for free on Web will be intentionally corrupted and information mixed and messed up with false and fiction. I love YouTube above everything else as a source of information, both for world news and DIY tips and tutorials. But proportion of adds required to watch is constantly increasing , unless obviously you buy Permium YT. I wish one day we could have complete knowledge database, strictly arranged that contain complete humanity knowledge . Everything we know in wiki format and youtube courses and tutorials. Everything from astro, math and physics science to video how to change wheel in your car or sharpen chain in chainsaw, plant radish in garden.

It is certainly true that access to reliable and accurate information is important, and that some companies and organizations charge for access to their knowledge databases. However, it is not necessarily the case that someone will buy Wikipedia and start charging for access to its content. Wikipedia is a non-profit organization that is committed to providing free access to knowledge, and it is unlikely that they would sell their database or change their model in the way you describe.

Perfect way to find out who the patriots are and who are the sheep.

It's important for individuals to be critical thinkers and not be swayed by information they encounter online without verifying its accuracy. It's also important for people to have the freedom to think for themselves and express their own opinions without fear of retribution. The future is always uncertain, but it's important for people to stay informed and engaged in the world around them in order to have a say in the direction society takes.
