Yeah, agreed. The Labor party have only been in for a couple of weeks and interest rates are already rising, and they even made them rise before they got in. How careless are these people?

Joking aside, I hope everyone understands why interest rates are rising and that they started rising before the change of government. I worry when 10 years down the track someone sees the rise in interest rates and instead of identifying why, they just blame the government that got into power at the time. I think the change of government is a result of the conditions, not causing them. If they were causing them, they somehow managed to do it before implementing anything.

If only UAP got in. We would all have low interest rates!

Are there enough variations in genes to assign people a unique identifier?

I was reading this: "The human genome contains approximately 3 billion of these base pairs, which reside in the 23 pairs of chromosomes within the nucleus of all our cells."

If there are 4 base pair combinations, does this mean that there are only a total of 12 billion unique combinations? I am guessing that a lot of these combinations are not viable, so there must be a lot of similarity between people, and indeed a decent amount of duplicates.

Is there more to this that I am missing or are there really only 12 billion combinations in our genome?

Is there another one of us somewhere?

Ahh, I see my error now. I am thinking that there are 3 billion possible combinations, but clearly now there are 3 billion to the base 4 combinations, which as is implied, is a really big number.
