First to spring to life is Lantana . Now is everywhere growing like crazy.
Nothing works. All of my 4 tested herbicides seems to be like vitamin shower for them. Can we have Corona for Lantana , please? The only hope is with our Universities Laboratories to develop viral infection to fight ever growing problem for Australia.
Seedlings? Or stems left on the ground that have put out roots since the rain?
In Perth they cultivate lantana in suburban gardens! I've seen ground asparagus in hanging baskets! Mother of millions clipped into nice neat low hedges! I'm tempted to attack the Madeira vine being cultivated on the tennis court fence.
Lantana bushes may greatly contribute to your field of bushfires.
I think i may need more attention.
Looks I am loosing a battle, Green stock is increasing exponentially reagardgess of my effort. Even If I have time to spray each clump, there are millions of them everywhere. Then only 1 in 100 is likely to die after soaking in my herbicides. There is also lack of machinery to deal with Lantana in AUstralia.
I found planty cheap attachment available in USA but none have dealers here and can't see smiliar products in Australia.
