It has it's own flaws, especially in a time as divided as now.

We live in a time of noise, especially in politics (?wikileaks) which makes it increasingly difficult to find truth. Were all drinking someone's koolaid, the new yorker is not the gold standard for reporting.

i was referring to The New Yorker. Longform articles by journalists and writers that spend time on them. It's journalism IS respected and has been for decades. Just because someone doesn't agree with its analysis doesn't diminish its reputation built up over many many years.

To be fair, neither candidate had the gravitas of Obama. It's a shame gun control and adequate Medicare etc is off the shelf for Americans now, as well as all the other reforms Obama commenced. "The greatest country in the world" is not one I would wish to live in, especially with Trump in charge.

This is just another example of many articles that have been coming out lately, that they all share one thing in common, total irony!
The irony being that if all these thing noted in the article are true, holy crap, then the democrats couldn't have put up a worse candidate to beat someone with these things being hung around his neck.
