I'm not asking the question cause I'm thinking of going.
I'm just wondering how many people see how reckless it is.
and kb53 - that is a possibility, but remains to be seen. It's definitely not a fail safe and this virus being as it is, anything can still happen.
You're missing the point champ. Why pinpoint Bali as the only travel destination to be considered reckless to visit outside of Australia??
Sorry, champ. I pretty much thought all other overseas locations were a given. Didn't think I'd have to spell it out for you.
Bali was the one that seems the most popular at the moment, you know cause they don't have any 'confirmed' cases and all the ostriches are going there at the moment.
Yeah nah....it wasn't "spelt out" in that you specifically refer to the "recklessness" of anyone who travels to Bali. So why not extend your argument to anyone who travels anywhere overseas at the moment is being "reckless".
The tragedy here is that any airport in the world will potentially have these "reckless" Bali travellers on board and will hence potentially expose themselves to this risk. Thailand and Singapore has an ever increasing number of "confirmed" cases yet Aussies are still "recklessly" traveling there.
Maybe anyone who wants to enter Australia must spend 2 weeks at Christmas Island or Darwin prior to being released back into the community.
You're right, it wasn't spelled out in my original post, as I said, I didn't think I had to.
That's why I had to spell it out to you in my previous post to this one.
We are in agreement, all overseas, especially holiday, travel is reckless at the moment.
Bali is the location I chose for this post as it is still very popular with the ostriches for the reasons I gave previous. Spelled out enough for you now, champ?
Before you get all high and mighty, Joe, get your facts correct. Two weeks is too short a quarantine period for a virus that can be passed on for almost a month before the infected person shows symptoms.
