Darth... hows this for your budget. Lego surf wagon. Take a while to get to beach and imagine a few repairs enroute. But no running costs and spares readily available and cheap..

the tray makes a pretty good hot tub if you leave it parked after a typical Pilbara rain, just need to park a drill rig alongside so you can use the mast as a ladder

not that we ever did stuff like that.......
