This is actually a very difficult question to answer. One could extend the question to why is everything so damned hard to open these days? You twist the little flap at the end but nothing happens, you try using your teeth but only thin strips tear off. You can smell the strawberry flavour inside but can't get at it. You salivate so much it makes it harder because the dribble makes the wrapper slippery, you try from the bottom of the wrapper only to pull the whole lolly off the stick still securely wrapped. Nightmare.

Rationale. Both sides would probably be more reluctant to bomb the crap out of each other knowing that their own children are scattered around the apposing country side. Both sides would grow an awareness of the others culture and beliefs. Both sides would realise that despite the obvious differences, how much they have in common. EG the desire to live in peace and raise a family in a safe wholesome environment free of hate and violence. This will be financed by the UN who realise it is cheaper to do this than to try and repair two war torn countries.

I went in for a recent check-up for some niggles I was feeling. Been having a good run at life so thought nothing of it and that I was going to walk out with a couple exercises and be ready to play my first match of footy after working hard all year to get back after years out of it. Had a surf trip planned at the end of the year.

Needless to say I walked out broken. Have to hang up the boots, surfing/ water sports was advised against. I've got to get scans and don't know what happens from then. Essentially my neck could give at any moment with a knock the wrong way. All the while I have lived life without a thought about it til this date.

Sorry I missed this one, and it really is a serious question. phenomenological existentialism is a term that is used to describe the phenomena of people la-de-da ing through life with out realising how precious life really is. Then one day they go to the doctor and find out that they have cancer and will probably be dead in six months. As a consequence they often grab hold of life like never before. They sail around the world, or raise millions of dollars for poor kids, or learn how to play jazz guitar etc.. They start to live their life the way it always should have been lived. Considering this, it is easy to think that cancer or similar hardship is actually, to use a cliche, a blessing in disguise. If you see all hardship in this light you probably will then make the right decisions for your future. If you aknowledge this then it probably is better to know.
