How would you solve the Arab/ Israeli conflict.
Every young person (male and female) of conscript able age (18 years of age) from both sides must by law, present themselves to the appropriate authorities to be formed up into squads that will be sent into the apposing country's territory. IE Palestinians sent in to Israel and vice versa. There they will be billeted for a period of one year in the homes of the occupying families. They will live,eat, sleep literally with the families of the opposing country. Whilst there, over the period of that year they will help to repair infrastructure, houses, schools hospitals etc. They will help to establish sporting, social groups ,soccer clubs etc with the local school kids. Rationale. Both sides would probably be more reluctant to bomb the crap out of each other knowing that their own children are scattered around the apposing country side. Both sides would grow an awareness of the others culture and beliefs. Both sides would realise that despite the obvious differences, how much they have in common. EG the desire to live in peace and raise a family in a safe wholesome environment free of hate and violence. This will be financed by the UN who realise it is cheaper to do this than to try and repair two war torn countries.
