The US on the other hand is fraught with huge inequalities, limited access to healthcare, second rate education, decayed infrastructure, staggering national debt, and a state of authoritarian excess cultivated by anti-terrorism, a terrorism aggravated by their own stupid irresponsible war making, which in turn seems to be a product of capitalist opportunism. Their right wing extremists are sticking their heads up and claiming proprietary ownership of "patriotism" and yet the hazard is "socialism". Argh... All of what you said was done to get a piece of the pie when the USSR was carved up. Which they got, especially on oil and gas. Russia still thinks/knows that Gorbachov was paid to break up the USSR.

Putin and/or mafia simply took the oil and gas resources back.

This is of course no secret at all.

North Korea is next in sight. It's why we are hostile and friendly at the same time. If/when it collapses or opens up the takings for capitalist are ginormous.
