I ate some cicada shell looking things when I visited china, dipped them in pepper and crunched away. They're not so bad with a beer, they tasted better than the chewy fettucini which turned out to be chicken guts.

I think I read/heard that recently insect numbers are way down. Does this mean that the deep state is simultaneously trying to make us eat insects and then reduce the supply?

I am trying to remember where the show was set but there was something on TV about growing and harvesting insects and then selling the protein on. I think initially it was for stock feed, which is not a bad idea.
