Let's not forget that the Morrison govt cut funding to nsw fire and rescue by 35.4% in june 2019. 13 million dollars that could have helped nsw in these troubled times. Hopes and prayers mean nothing if you're basically contributing to a disaster.

Morrison is Federal. NSW is a self-governing state. Do you understand the three tiers of government? And I am no fan of the Liberals.

What does that have to do with the price of fish? The Feds provide funding to the states for firefighting. That's what Pepe shared.

Not who "governs" NSW.

I'm sure Pepe understands the Australian government system. No need to condescend.

BTW I haven't fact checked Pepe's claim about the cuts, but I'm happy to point out the difference between funding and governance.

Another major problem facing a lot of growers including myself is speculators/Big Corps buying permanent and temporary water in the MDB and artificially inflating the price by sitting on this water the average was $135 meg(temporary water) now it's $1,000 a meg, permanent pushing close to 10K a meg
The ACCC was in town on Friday and Mick Keogh and his team are investigating the water market the sooner they hand down their findings the better if you don't own land then you shouldn't own or trade water, even Eddie McGuire has bought a million+ of water, the return for investors I've been told is 39%.
