Electric cars are too expensive to buy, they will never be cheaper than petrol. It's only the tax on petrol which makes it more expensive for consumption but the purchase price is way too high. I drive a petrol golf and there is an EV version selling in europe and even in the petrol head USA but the aussie price would be $80k to $100k buy the time you buy the charger. It's good for the wealthy to reduce their massive footprints but not for the general population.

I dunno about that.
Back in the day when I used to work for a living, I noticed that the grass always grew better on the footpath beside my parked truck during the summer. I put that down to the shade that it created during the morning reducing the evaporation of the dew, so the grass was a little better watered than further along the footpath.
I think you'll probably find that plant growth is better in a field full of solar panels for that reason. Most of our flora is adapted to grow well during the cooler wetter parts of the year. The shading from solar panels creates those conditions artificially. Like a shadehouse that people use for ferns and orchids or other plants that are adapted to thrive under the canopy of the forest.

My grass grows better where its sheltered from the prevailing southery wind in full sun.

Plenty or car parks and rooftops ripe for covering with solar panels. No need to fill up dusty earth with them. No one's proposing we clear greenfield land for solar either. There's plenty of plain old dirt to fill up with them if necessary.

I can't see why they can't be cheaper than petrol - when we get large enough markets. I'd have to check, but a a an analogy, in pretty sure electric RC stuff of cheaper than nitro (gas).
And coming back to RC after the introduction of brushless and LiPo batteries... why would anyone bother with gas anymore?

But there is surprise , surprise. The most recent research found to surprise of all involved that uranium deposited unexpectedly start to leak to underground water resources. Thanks to newly discovered chemical reaction nobody thought before.
So happy drinking for all from now.
I would rather dump the lot to the ocean to dilute as much as possible.
Discovery about the leak was made actually in UK but seems that both Island are very similar in size for me and fate will be the same for both.One may say that high radiation dosage could kill all bacteria in water- so underground water for drinking will be at least bacteriologically clean of all living organism.

Poor research. Their waste is shipped around the world for reprocessing before being shipped back and put in holding cells indefinitely coz its the best they can do. So, nuclear waste, round and round and round and around. An Environmental nightmare should there be a maritime incident.

I think its you that doesn't understand. Innovation is not someone coming up with a great idea that is out of the blue, innovation is when someone actually comes up with an idea and then implements it. Without being able to implement it, you are just one of hundreds of thousands of people that think they have a great idea.

Anyone, and I mean anyone, can dream up all sorts of solutions to problems, but only a handful actually provide realistic solutions and move humanity along.

If anyone attributes any discovery to you ever, I will buy a hat and then eat it.

Here it is how it works with TT. Hopefully I could disclose that much and we will see what happen now.
When TT disclose too much or too early things that are SIGNIFICANT then paradox protection mechanism kick in. Everything reverse and back to normal. But at what cost (?) , I don't know. Suppose I will tell you that given asteroid will hit the Earth on that day and hour. You wake up next day and learn the such asteroid even doesn't exist anymore never was!
But sometimes PP ( paradox protection) does work in very unpleasant manner. To prevent something from happening TT could be in the most unexpected way eliminated - for example by hammer dropped on ISS by astronauts, that fall onto Earth and hit TT into head. Alternatively recipient of information is eliminated before information is propagated further - by another complete random coincident.
Hopefully information disclosed in NOT SIGNIFICANT in value and everything exist as usual from now on.
