how many who've had it done, regret it was done?
how may wish they'd been done?
There was a program on ABC some time ago that explored the topic. There are many who curse their parents for having it done without their permission because of later complications.
There was a very good looking Muslim guy in his 50s who related how he was a happy 10 yo enjoying life when his father took him to the barber shop one day and he was grabbed by his father and his mates and subjected to an impromptu circumcision.
He was totally pinged off about it because apart from the total distrust he had for his father from there on, it caused a deformed bend of his member that made sexual performance a huge problem for him.
The Jewish practice of performing it on a baby less than 8 days old, by a non medically qualified rabbi is just barbaric to say the least.
The practice is in no way medically justified unless there is some infection. Quite often the foreskin does not fully separate from the glans until the child is 6 or 7 years old.
Teaching the child proper hygiene is a parental duty. It might have been relevant for middle eastern savages roaming around the desert millennia ago but the practice has no place in an enlightened society to which the Jews and Arabs don't seem to belong.
