There are so many, but for frequency of listens over many years without skipping tracks I'd mention Pantera - vulgar display of power

I'd suggest one of the greatest, and curiously enough also greatest unknown, albums is one called "Power Hymns" by an enigmatic solo artist named simply; Carantoc.

So many hits on it such as :

All Things Bright and Beautiful
Jerusalem
and one of my personal favorites - Onwards Christian Soldiers

Power Hymns Volume II was also a bit of a cracker.

Come on now, hum with me .... And did those feet, in ancient times.........

^^^^^^Yes it was awesome,
it was almost as popular as "Carantoc's Top Tips and Seabreeze Hacks"

Am looking forward to the return of live gigs to be part of one of Carantoc's famous mosh pits.

funny eppo i always took you for a "high 5" kinda guy

Haha

I also really like most the albums mentioned. Im
a huge Sting fan as well (for his ability to craft songs), petal jam Ten is one of those classics.

but when it was asked for fav album I thought what is an album I can listen to, even to this day where I find even more nuances.
I suppose that always brings me back to Pink Floyd. The Final Cut was a rip snorter (but this was roger waters mainly).

i actually sat down and watched the Wall the other day ... far out man just timeless.

I've got Moving Pictures by Rush on vinyl.

My favourite vinyl would have to be , The Who By Numbers.

The Doors - Absolutely Live
From Univ days, spent too much time with motor bikes and music. This album is burnt into some little hard drive in my head.

not sure what happened to this dude after he made this album but I need to buy him a beer.
It was the Hot Cosby of music -all you needed was a strobe light ,subwoofers and nitrous oxide. Worked every time .Strangely enough both Pendulums were from Perth .

Some awesome taste on the breeze,
Ten, Bleach, Appetite, damn such good albums.

for me it would have to be Never Mind The Bollocks, it just changed my life. That and The Vandals - The Quickening. I listened to The Quickening more times than is sane.

ah thanks Julia,

I'm gonna say Violent Femmes, Blind Leading the Naked.
Mainly due to the timing, the whole coming of age thing.
Taped of course, from another mates tape.

Definitely the soundtrack to the formative part of youth.

^^ Talking Heads, Tom Tom Club in particular.

RIP Max Headroom and MTV.
