Peter. Its really funny to the point of "want a punch in the nose" when you think that we go and fight fires cos it's well paid. We get slightly more per hr than normal ($7) , spend long days away from family, lots of smoke , dirt and hot work. And risk on not returning ever to loved ones. F Off
Everything I said in this topic was designed to make work for people like you easier or safer. I don't even claim that any of those have any value or expertise, just start for consideration, suggestions. Anybody could come with improvements or their own ideas on the subject. But seems that everybody is happy with status quo , no changes or improvements needed.
Everybody could come with obvious solution like pay rise for our firefighters but that doesn't solve the problem if first place, or doesn't require waste of 14 web pages. I accept the fact that none of my proposals was met with slightest enthusiasms, none of the improvements or contra proposal by others raised either. So lets leave whole bushfire business to Chris and Formula like to carry about, I am goin fishin on my own farm.
Situation reminds state of our democracy system, where one day everybody comes to polling station to vote on their favorites, only to start complaining on their own choice day after.

One may ask: Shouldn't I feel offended by total criticism, here on SB.
People bigger then me met similar failure .

Elon Musk possibly know as much about cave diving as me about bushfires.
His intentions was sincere to help. Asking nothing in return.Where should I fit my anti - bushfire program?
