Kristi Page, Justin Ormonde and Nick Maloney hooked up to paddle in epic conditions last Friday. Justin and Kristi have been out in up to 50kn on Corio Bay before and Kristi loves the Big Wind but this had other surprises.
This was Kristi's 3rd run on the SIC 14 Bullet and it is a cracker of a board, she loves in it open ocean swell and for this run the rudder was a must as they had to tack in and out to get through the cross winds to Addis.
Often they would disappear into the troughs and you couldnt see them at all.

Big winner today was Chris Clarke who won the Main Race, the Sprint Race, the Family Race (along with his daughter), and then won a Fanatic Falcon race board in the lucky dip random prize draw. Unbelievable.
Jean Ringrose also had a great day, winning both Main and Sprint Races in the Womens. Matt Nottage finished third outright and was also the first Under 18 Boy. Kristi Page continued her winning ways among Junior Girls. Dean Elcoat was the leading Over 40 Male. Warwick Lee was first across the line on a 12'6" and was also the top Over 50.
Special credit for outstanding sportsmanship goes to Luke French who was in second place as pace setter, Chris Clarke appeared to be heading in the wrong direction and on his way to disqualification at the end of the first lap. Luke called out to Chris and corrected his course, allowing Chris to stay in the race and eventually win.
Another terrific event organised by the SUPB StKilda crew.
