Hi all,

I've been riding a 9'4" McTavish for a few years now. I want to get a shorter board for bigger days, but I don't want to go to a shortboard. I was thinking something like a Takayama Scorpion. Does anyone have one? If not, what do you recommend?

Had my LBMG out in some decent surf last week. Rotto was a good double overhead on Thursday and a bit smaller but with nicer rights on Friday. Whilst I was out of shape after a summer of nothing but knee high waves the board worked a treat. Fast down the line, good paddler, smooth cutties and duck dives well.
