Started out as $20 ply 13mm thick, 122X45 from Bunnings. No rocker. Cut upwind really well, very poor range due to heels being to far from edge of board, dug the nose in a bit plus very slippery ride. Cut down to 41cm width (excess pieces shown in pic). Better edging. Added home made fins = less slippery. Made some curved tips using 2 X 4mm ply cracked to make the curve, then fibreglass to finish. Think I will make one with a decent paint job and finish, 45cm width, but mount footpads closer to edge.
