Why I need a LWB . Nearly everything in but booms are a pain. Windsurfers/Foil boards/Wings/SUP's/Surf boards and bikes for 2. Nearly a grey Nomad.

Good to see someone else who stores boards on their side.

Got more boards in with less height for the bed

I've moved from a large trailer which carried everything including camping gear and sleeping accommodation to a LWB Sprinter. Parking isn't a big issue due to where I sail and live and the extra space will be used for kitchen and living stuff when I get around to it in winter. Go big

I went on line to see if any other surfers, wind, kite, Sup had quality issues with the newer Naish boards as compression top and bottom seems to be an issue now, also paint / top coat bubbling. Its not Osmosis or abuse, my boards are very well looked after. The older Naish windsurf and sup boards were undoubtedly the best in every way a brand owned by people who cared. I have been told by 2 very skilled and highly regarded repairmen that since Naish was sold to a Polish company the quality has dropped to keep manufacturing costs and weight down. The fibre glass around the core has a much thinner layer of resin now leading to problems when getting warm / hot as air bubbles in the core rise through the resin and blister the skin. This is just an honest appraisal from a former very happy user who in the early days was proud to go to the beach with a Naish board

Yes, my Naish Crossover developed blisters and brown stains within 3 months and was replaced under warranty. The second one has now developed the same problems after a few years of use. I love the board so I'll put up with the cosmetic issues. My older Naish has had many years of great service and I hope that they fix their production issues.

Great idea. Keen to hear his thoughts too. I had a chat in a pub with Ben years ago where he said he was always exploring ways to improve rigging outcomes on his sails by making things easier to get right. He saw that as a big part of improving the sport in general.

not sure if you've seen this video. Different brand but has great detail on fine tuning a race sail

Interesting video, never heard of that method . For me it's always, is the twist progressive with a good belly and can I flatten with more outhaul.

I have an issue of having to join SupVic and Surfing Aus to complete at the titles when Surfing Aus does zero for SUP during the year. SUP Vic yes heaps but no surf comps any more. Even our local surf club excludes SUP participants from entering but they want our cash for Nationals. Sorry..No
